Blues Foundation: Sport and Inclusion Mentor, Bedford, £22,000 - £26,000 pa, full time, permanent.

Our Sport and Inclusion Mentors will deliver on several programmes that focus on mentoring and supporting students on our education and intervention programmes Tackle LIFE and Be You. They will lead some programme responsibilities and project management, helping grow an exciting department dedicated to helping young people.

Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust: Volunteer Coordinator, Recruitment and Support, Luton, £28,407 - £34,581 pa, full time, permanent.

As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will be responsible for the recruitment, training and coordinating the activity of volunteers, who will support our patients, their families and staff. You will work collaboratively with teams across the hospital, to ensure we have a high performing, consistent number of volunteers available across Luton and Bedford Hospital sites.

Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust: Charity Assistant, Luton, £22,816 - £24,336 fte, part time (25 hours pwe week).

Your role is central to the whole team as you will be the first face to greet donors, patients and their relatives, volunteers, Trustees of the Hospital Charitable Fund and Hospital staff with regards to fundraising, volunteering and work experience.

Bedfordshire Rural Communities Charity: Marketing and Communications Officer, Bedford, £25,545 fte, part/full time (21 – 35 hours per week).

Sight Concern Bedfordshire: Visual Impairment Advisor, Bedford, £23,151 - £25,500 fte, part time (15-25 hours per week).

We are currently looking for a Visual Impairment Advisor to join our successful, experienced, and expanding team. This is a new post to assess the needs of severely sight impaired (blind) and sight impaired (partially sighted) people in their own homes and in the community, by co-ordinating sight support services to meet their requirements.

Friends For Life: Activities Lead, Bedford, £15 per hour, part time (15 hours per week).

The Activity Lead’s role will be to improve the wellbeing of residents by growing, developing, and delivering our wellbeing services to the care homes around Bedford. This will include building a network of volunteers and partnerships to deliver group activities which could include school visits, performances (such as poetry, prose or music) and organising craft or other ‘hands-on’ group activities.

Bedford Creative Arts: Projects Assistant, Bedford, £23,400 pa, full time, contract (fixed until May 2026).

The role will balance desk work with hands-on delivery.  You will support the Company & Projects Manager in providing administrative and practical support to our broad range of arts projects – from large digital commissions to workshops in schools.  This will include working on project plans, contracts, correspondence, and meeting and speaking to a wide range of people.  You’ll also support our marketing staff by creating digital content, updating social media and websites and promoting our activities.

Royal Osteoporosis Society: Community Project Coordinator – Better Bones Luton, Luton, £20,229 pa, part time (22.5 hours per week).

Over the course of 2 years, the role-holder will support the programme in its aim to develop a sustainable presence in Luton. Better Bones for Luton will change lives locally by providing timely practical and emotional support. More importantly, it will leave a lasting legacy of increased knowledge, coordinated support and greater awareness. Better Bones for Luton will be the charity’s first local, place-based project approach.
